Hey dev!

First off i want to say I love your app. Its my favorite android one so far, its beautiful. I wanted to get that out because im about to slightly complain but its okay because im part of your low percentage user base.

I have the galaxy tab s6 lite and I have a keyboard and trackpad with it. When I use the trackpad to try to scroll it is very very slow. Would taker over a minute to scroll past one picture.

Im a software dev so I understand the process and you got more important things to work on but I just wanted to give you an FYI on it! Love you work (:

Hi all. With all the feedback yesterday I wanted to make a release sooner rather than later to address some of the feedback I've received in order to make Connect even better! Some features I had hoped to get in (Markdown editor, image uploads) but will need some more time. Those will come in an upcoming release. I've also uploaded the APK to Apkmirror but it hasn't yet been reviewed, I'll post a link once that's ready.

• Feature: added setting for text sizes
• Feature: added setting for default comment sorting
• Feature: added the Inbox (thanks @[email protected])
• Feature: Added open in web button at the community level
• Feature: added open in web action item for profiles and post views
• Feature: added unread comment counts to post cards

• Feature: added a refresh button to the community pages when there's a server issue
• Feature: fullwidth view now scales images to fit instead of displaying cropped

Fixes:

• Bugfix: lemmy.ml posts should now work (they were on a different API version)
• Bugfix: The profile link now works correctly if there are multiple accounts with your same username
• Bugfix: Fixed the list view text being at 80% width
• Bugfix: subscription list is no longer limited to 10 items
• Bugfix resolved an issue where sometimes comments would be duplicated

Misc improvements

• Misc: made comments and sidebar lists more compact

I really like how this app looks, much more than jerboa, and it has some settings I really like. The issue is that some of these settings just don't seem to work at all. I generally use mobile apps in card view, but it seems that the card view just doesn't work for me, and is the same as full width. Along with this, blur/hide/show settings for NSFW also just don't do anything, with it being seemingly stuck on "hide". Hopefully these things can be easily fixed and are just with the setting activation.

Until this is fixed, I'll stick with jerboa, but once this is changed, I'm probably going to switch over to connect.

Hiya! Stumbled upon this app and I love it! It's my favorite of all the lemmy apps so far.

My only issue is that if I sign onto my lemmy.ml account it stops loading any posts and just says "no posts"

Hi, thanks for making more options for reading the fediverse! Have you considered making this open source or available via fdroid?

That's all. It's the first lemmy app I've tried, and aside from the inbox being totally busted, it looks and works great :)
