How neat is that?

These are some of my most beloved allies in nature. They are native to my area and do a great job of keeping the pest population down around the consumable and ornamental plants once they get going for the year. Once they wipe out the easy prey in the garden they move to the trees to reproduce. Even the larvae are metal.

We've had tons of rain lately and the garden beds are full of SHROOMS. They're mostly harmless but they can quickly take over if I don't keep up with pulling them when I see them.

A large army worm was getting too close for comfort around the edible plants so I baited it on to a runner from one of the strawberry plants and relocated it somewhere else. Come back when you're a pollinator!
