This is the state of UFOs/UAPs in 2024:

Theory #1: Within the U.S., there is an interest in convincing the public (and certain sectors of the government) that there is a form of intelligence, including technology and biology of currently indeterminate origin, that is not human. Those responsible for propagating this idea include public figures, intelligence agents, former military personnel, journalists, prominent scientists, and others. The purpose seems to be unknown. (This could constitute a carefully planned conspiracy or, alternatively, these people may have self-deceived, or been deceived by others, convincing themselves, or being convinced, that this is true.)

Theory #2: Non-human intelligence or intelligences do indeed exist and have been interacting with humanity for quite some time, possibly since forever. Certain private organizations, aerospace and technology companies, supported by the Military-Industrial Complex, have studied vehicles and/or pieces of this technology and, potentially, the bodies of their occupants, although there appears to be controversy regarding the nature and origin of these life forms. This process has been carried out in secret by the executive branch, or illegally by private powers without informing all government authorities, and using vast amounts of money. There is also controversy regarding the level of success achieved in the efforts to understand and reproduce these technologies.

Either of these two hypotheses seems to me equally interesting. What are your thoughts?

Ya’ll remember the controversial OBE scientist? This jives with what he said about the OBE’s religion and apotheosis. To summarize his claim, life creates complexity. Once life becomes concentrated enough complexity reaches a “critical mass” creating an sort of apotheosis. This is there main motivation. Could be the guy was a proponent of assembly theory. Anyways, this was news to me and I found it interesting.

I wrote a long post yesterday about how asking for evidence isn't an attack. If anything, if someone asks for evidence, it's a sign they want to be convinced of something new. This opened up a rather ugly can of worms where people jumped on my thread to tell me that I was blind if I did not see there was 'overwhelming evidence for aliens'.

And I noticed a pattern here.

There are three misunderstandings:

  1. When most people in the thread talk about 'overwhelming evidence' they point to all the UAP sightings. This is where things go wrong, because those sightings are not evidence for the existence of aliens. They are nothing more than a question that is yet to be answered. Someone saw something and we *don't know what it was*. This is not evidence of aliens. It is evidence that there is a phenomena we don't understand yet. This is a big difference. Let's say ancient man sees lightning, and does not understand what it is. He discusses this with his tribesmen and they also don't know what it is. Soon they speculate it's something the Gods do. This does not mean lighting is from the Gods. It means these primitive people don't know what it is, and try to explain it with a story. It takes science and evidence to explain the phenomenon. Regarding UAPs, we are at the story stage. There is something, we don't know what it is, and many people speculate that it could be aliens. We just don't know yet. Does not mean it's not aliens either, btw. It just means *we don't know and need to study this further*.
  2. They believe at face value something they saw on youtube or what someone said. Sure, fine, have fun with it but that's not evidence. That's someone saying 'trust me bro'. Unless evidence is independently verified and confirmed it's not evidence. It's a nice story. All well and good, and have fun with it, but please understand that some dude saying something is not evidence of aliens. Especially when the actual testimony about UAP almost never mentions aliens. It's pilots testifying about seeing something unknown. This means there likely is something to learn and something we need to study. But it does not mean it's evidence for aliens. It's at best evidence that there's something new to discover.
  3. Thinking that evidence can be as soft or as hard as you want it to be and that you don't need to be fussy about it. If that's enough for you, fine. Enjoy the cool story and speculation. Just be aware that evidence needs to adhere to standards. At the very least it needs to be independently verified by independent experts. For example, the 'Alien Mummies' are not evidence until independent scientists can examen them and test the samples and basically check the hell out of it. It's telling the discoverers don't allow this.

Again: don't shoot the messenger. It seems to me there's a lot of interesting stuff going on in this field and there's enough room to speculate. Regarding UAPs, there are a lot of questions I would love to see the answers to. And if we're talking about life outside our solar system, there's still no conclusive explanation for some of the things we as humans have seen or picked up. The wow-signal comes to mind.

Personally I would love to discuss these topics and others. What I've unfortunately encountered is a kind of religious zealotry which won't get us anywhere.

Once you consider belief to be enough, all learning and discovery stops. Just look at the dark ages.

I have thought about it, and it seems to be the people who believe in extraterrestrials the least and who are not interested in the subject at all, have the most experiences with them. Could there be a reason for this? I know this is reddit so this question will get the usual "stupid post" or "what does that even mean" comment, but I'm serious.

I've always believed that aliens came from distant planets, however I have increasingly heard on podcasts various theories that these aliens are rather extra-dimensional. This is a new one to me, and these podcasts never go into detail how we came from believing they are from other planets, to how they could be extra-dimensional. Could someone please explain this theory further, and why it is more (or less!) likely than the planet theory? The only evidence they ever really mention is that the planets are too far away, and too much of a hassle for them to reach us here on Earth, but I'm skeptical about that as who knows what type of flight technology they may have.

Due to me noticing several recent crop circle reports.

Is there some way we could get up a volunteer network to cover as much ground as possible to respond to crop circles and go out there to physically check and get photos from secondary witness besides just the discoverer.

I want photos areal, drones, close ups of blades of grass how they got cut etc all of the same circles.

Can we set it up so people anonymously volunteer to respond of there is a report in the location they volunteer for. Then they can dash out there at a moments notice and take more pics and confirm as much as possible about each claim?

Did anyone in Florida see a weird red light on the sky?

I was driving at 11 PM, headed into the city of Trenton, and saw a large red light(?) In the sky, making the shape of the crescent moon and changing? I was wondering if anyone else saw it or knew what would be causing that? It was a deep red, not a light tower as in from the area, and there isn't one that would be up that high or where it was.

Fun story time. We are the crops of the NHI. The NHI don't like nukes as they're akin to what would be to us.. crop destruction. See, nukes can snuff a lot of lives with compatibly little suffering. What a waste. Like destroying the wheat field and missing out on all the goodness.

The end :)

Someone came up with a video talking about the a US led crash Retrieval Operation into Mexico back in 1974. The UFO crashed into a flying cessna, before hitting the ground (I imagine the cess pilot didn't make it?).

Guys, UFOs don't crash into planes, but they can lose control when flying into the so call UFO DeadZones, that isn't discussed much.

Remember that the 4chan Bermuda guy (I call him Changmuda), discussed how UFOs have a location in Mexico where they continually crash, it's like a deadpit they try to avoid.

The area where this crash happened, was on or right next door to an area that got accidentally hit with a cobalt warhead (neutron bomb), by the US during missile testing and gave the area radiation. However I think previously it already had radio silence, where shit didn't work.

I am no geologist, but I believe that certain areas of the planet have gravitational and Geological anomolies, that don't work well with electronics.

Well, it's not limited to human tech, UFOs also experience the same issues apparently.

This is the video in question

For years, rumors have swirled about a big-budget film adaptation of Bob Lazar's astonishing story, with actor Matt Damon once in talks to portray him. In the late 1980s, Lazar gave a series of interviews with journalist George Knapp, where he claimed to have worked at a secret government facility on a program focused on reverse-engineering alien technology. His detailed testimony offers a vivid glimpse into the inner workings of the program and his experiences at the enigmatic S4 site. In this episode, we’ll explore the various attempts to bring this extraordinary tale to the big screen and take a look at Project Gravitaur.

Original Title: UFOs can hypnotize you. In 1965, a woman looks outside & sees many people from her apartment complex in a trance-like state, staring at a hovering UFO. In 1982, a child wakes up at night and looks outside. He sees almost everyone in his village in a hypnotic trance near a UFO.

From Sky People- Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica by Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke:

In this chapter, you will meet a Roman Catholic priest [in Guatemala] who had a personal encounter with a UFO and a Star Man. The incident made him a firm believer in the existence of extraterrestrial life.

(snip)

“Father, this is the Doctora I spoke about—the professor who is collecting stories about UFOs and Sky People.” Father Felipe nodded and offered his hand to me. “Father Felipe and I were boys together,” Mateo continued. “We grew up in the same village and went to the same schools.

(snip)

“The year was 1982. I was thirteen years old. I lived in the same village as Mateo. It was July—July 15, to be exact. I remember because it was my birthday.

(snip)

The priest nodded.

“I woke up in the middle of the night. I saw flashing lights outside. It was very strange to me. We didn’t have electricity in our village, so I had only seen electric lights a time or two. I could even see them flashing with my eyes closed. At first I was very excited. I had never seen anything of such beauty. I tried to wake up my three brothers who slept in the same room with me. They would not awaken no matter how hard I tried.”

“Tell her about me,” Mateo said.

“In time, dear friend. I am trying to tell as it happened. I remember being told, in my mind, to go out the bedroom window. I did as I was told and crawled out the window. Once outside I saw these colorful balls of light. Some were still in the sky but some were on the ground and when they hit the earth they transformed into men.

(snip)

“After talking with the Sky Man, I saw something very strange. I watched as my neighbors, my relatives, and even my best friend, Mateo, stood in the field dazed. One by one they were taken on board the craft and then, maybe a half hour later, they would return to the field. I ran to Mateo and tried to drag him out of the line, but he could not be moved. He was like a stone statue. He didn’t even look at me. He was under their spell. I was helpless. I remember sitting on a rock and crying. The stranger approached me again and told me not to cry. He said tomorrow I would not remember what happened on this night.”

“But you did,” I said.

“Yes. I did and I told the Sky Man I would remember. I would never forget what happened. He said I would only remember it as a dream.”

From 1965 HUMANOID SIGHTING REPORTS Compiled by Albert Rosales:

Location. Mamaroneck New York

Date: 1965

Time: night

The witness remembers waking up and seeing a black shape standing over her, looking down at her, she is apparently paralyzed. She remembers seeing people from all over the apartment complex were gathered in the courtyard. She went out the window into this courtyard and observed an object hovering about six feet off the ground. The people were all in a trance and were being taken up one at a time into the object. Other tall black figures were around the courtyard. When she was taken inside the craft she was met by two of the black figures and placed horizontally on a table.

From 1965 HUMANOID SIGHTING REPORTS Compiled by Albert Rosales:

Location. Citrus Heights, California

Date: August 1965

Time: 2100

During a heavy storm the four witnesses were in the farm living room discussing the weekend plans. Suddenly one of the men heard sounds coming from outside and thought it was the sheep that had gotten out. While the other two (a husband and wife) stayed inside he and his wife went outside to check. The man chased the sheep back into the pen while the woman held the gate. When she turned around she saw the man staring, as in a trance into the sky. He called out his name but there was no response. Out of nowhere a metallic object had descended over the man and hovered 20 ft above him. He remembers seeing “people” inside the craft wearing what look like blue jump suits. He also said that the people looked human, and they all had long blond hair and blue eyes. His wife saw the same thing, confirming the account. After about a minute she yelled at him to get away from the object. He ran in a full sprint to the house. He later confirmed that the reason why he was not answering his wife was because he was in some sort of trance and couldn’t take his eyes off the craft.

From 1966 HUMANOID SIGHTING REPORTS Compiled by Albert Rosales:

Location. Gulfport, Mississippi

Date: Summer 1966

Time: evening

12-year old Eve was playing in her backyard with her cousins when she began to feel a strange sensation, like something or someone was calling her, or watching her. She turned to look behind her, and was stunned by the sight of a craft in the distance. The craft had an array of colored lights. The lights were blinking on and off. They encircled the strange craft, and these lights seemed to be of a color she had not seen before, and were extremely bright and clear. She said: “The more I looked, the more I wanted to keep looking.” The sight of the beautifully colored lights somehow made her feel happy. She could not taker her eyes off the craft and its twinkling lights. While some of the other children ran inside the house, Eve remained outside staring at the craft, which now appeared to be much closer.

From The Cosmic Question (The Eighth Tower) by journalist John Keel:

When a mass of energy enters the visible spectrum by turning red or violet, it must somehow be altering the frequency of its 'vibrations'. These frequency changes are so well controlled that the object can vibrate at the exact frequency of the percipient's brain waves. When the object's pulsations are synchronized with the percipient's frequency, a medical phenomenon occurs. The witness lapses into a hypnotic-like trance and hallucinates.

(snip)

It is probable that a majority of all people in every generation have a direct experience with the super-spectrum sometime during their lives. In ancient times people sipped ambrosia and mentally visited the palaces of the gods while something else was actually happening to their bodies. During the Middle Ages we met with fairies and leprechauns, took a swig from their jug, and visited their magnificent underground palaces while something else was actually happening to our bodies. In modern times we visit flying saucers while something else is actually happening to our bodies. Those who do not drink a syrupy or oily liquid are triggered by a flash of light. Many UFO contacts (and religions contacts with angelic apparitions) begin with a sudden flash of light - energy from the super-spectrum tuned to the exact frequency of the percipient's brain. The flash induces the trancelike state, but the percipient thinks he or she is still wide awake and that the hallucination that follows the flash is a part of reality. They remember seeing the flash, and then an entity comes out of the darkness holding some kind of flashlight or even a camera. Or they see a pulsing light, become transfixed, unable to move, and the light slowly changes into a wondrous space ship. Helpless, they are hauled aboard, tossed onto a table, and given a medical going over - they think.

This is a bit of a loaded question and highly speculative But over the years of reading UFO Materials, I know that multiple times I've come across different data points (usually by aductees), in regards to the time it takes the craft to travel from their planet to earth or vice versa. Anyone recall of any and can you please provide a source.

Recent discoveries in the Indian Hoshangabad region of Madhya Pradesh have revealed ancient cave paintings that could change our understanding of prehistoric human interaction with other terrestrial beings. These 10,000-year-old paintings found in Charama area in Kanker district, Chhattisgarh, depict extraterrestrial life and what appear to be UFOs One discovery in particular is a collection of cave paintings that appear to function like an ancient calendar. These images recount past developments of these extraterrestrial beings and appear to potentially predict future visits. The calendar suggests dates that could correspond to the years 2030 and 2046. Although the exact dates remain uncertain due to the difficulty of ancient symbols. The natives have long believed in myths about the "Rohela people", the celestial beings who would take the villagers and pass on knowledge and technology before they disappeared. This discovery echoes the ancient astronaut theory, which assumes that extraterrestrial beings influenced early human civilizations. Researchers believe these encounters may have inspired mythologies and early technological advances, such as detailed descriptions of flying machines or airplanes found.
