They would not awaken no matter how hard I tried.”
“Tell her about me,” Mateo said.
“In time, dear friend. I am trying to tell as it happened. I remember being told, in my mind, to go out the bedroom window. I did as I was told and crawled out the window. Once outside I saw these colorful balls of light. Some were still in the sky but some were on the ground and when they hit the earth they transformed into men.

“After talking with the Sky Man, I saw something very strange. I watched as my neighbors, my relatives, and even my best friend, Mateo, stood in the field dazed. One by one they were taken on board the craft and then, maybe a half hour later, they would return to the field. I ran to Mateo and tried to drag him out of the line, but he could not be moved. He was like a stone statue. He didn’t even look at me. He was under their spell. I was helpless. I remember sitting on a rock and crying. The stranger approached me again and told me not to cry. He said tomorrow I would not remember what happened on this night.”
“But you did,” I said.
“Yes. I did and I told the Sky Man I would remember. I would never forget what happened. He said I would only remember it as a dream.”

The witness remembers waking up and seeing a black shape standing over her, looking down at her, she is apparently paralyzed. She remembers seeing people from all over the apartment complex were gathered in the courtyard. She went out the window into this courtyard and observed an object hovering about six feet off the ground. The people were all in a trance and were being taken up one at a time into the object. Other tall black figures were around the courtyard. When she was taken inside the craft she was met by two of the black figures and placed horizontally on a table.

Date: August 1965
Time: 2100
During a heavy storm the four witnesses were in the farm living room discussing the weekend plans. Suddenly one of the men heard sounds coming from outside and thought it was the sheep that had gotten out. While the other two (a husband and wife) stayed inside he and his wife went outside to check. The man chased the sheep back into the pen while the woman held the gate. When she turned around she saw the man staring, as in a trance into the sky. He called out his name but there was no response. Out of nowhere a metallic object had descended over the man and hovered 20 ft above him. He remembers seeing “people” inside the craft wearing what look like blue jump suits. He also said that the people looked human, and they all had long blond hair and blue eyes. His wife saw the same thing, confirming the account. After about a minute she yelled at him to get away from the object. He ran in a full sprint to the house. He later confirmed that the reason why he was not answering his wife was because he was in some sort of trance and couldn’t take his eyes off the craft.

12-year old Eve was playing in her backyard with her cousins when she began to feel a strange sensation, like something or someone was calling her, or watching her. She turned to look behind her, and was stunned by the sight of a craft in the distance. The craft had an array of colored lights. The lights were blinking on and off. They encircled the strange craft, and these lights seemed to be of a color she had not seen before, and were extremely bright and clear. She said: “The more I looked, the more I wanted to keep looking.” The sight of the beautifully colored lights somehow made her feel happy. She could not taker her eyes off the craft and its twinkling lights. While some of the other children ran inside the house, Eve remained outside staring at the craft, which now appeared to be much closer.

In modern times we visit flying saucers while something else is actually happening to our bodies. Those who do not drink a syrupy or oily liquid are triggered by a flash of light. Many UFO contacts (and religions contacts with angelic apparitions) begin with a sudden flash of light - energy from the super-spectrum tuned to the exact frequency of the percipient's brain. The flash induces the trancelike state, but the percipient thinks he or she is still wide awake and that the hallucination that follows the flash is a part of reality. They remember seeing the flash, and then an entity comes out of the darkness holding some kind of flashlight or even a camera. Or they see a pulsing light, become transfixed, unable to move, and the light slowly changes into a wondrous space ship. Helpless, they are hauled aboard, tossed onto a table, and given a medical going over - they think.
