First off Jill Tarter Chair Emeritus for SETI Research and CEO Thomas Pierson have both said they would have not put the WOW signal the signal candidate list. Jill Tarter said she would have simply trashed it and moved on. This is because big ear had two detection points and if it was a true signal candidate it would have been detected at both points.
They don’t think anything of the WOW signal. So why is the WOW signal the most well known and thought to be the best candidate to exist? My guess is because they wanted us following a BS signal instead of asking about the 200 other more likely candidates that had been detected that we have zero information available about.
Let’s talk about https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHGb02%2B14a. SHGb02-14a. Detected three times and meets the criteria. They don’t give any valid reasons to why this signal isn’t good enough. They would have out the WOW data straight into the trash so I have a feeling that they would find a problem with a signal that repeats three times. The star, L 1159-16, which is one of the nearest 40 stars to the Sun, is near the signal's position. They say likely a coincidence.
Let’s talk about BCL1. Why is it still a candidate and ruled out but not completely? The main reason it’s not considered a alien signal is because it’s so close and the ODDS are low we would have neighbors in the closest star system to earth. Maybe they were seeded in a close location to see if we could connect as part of the experiment. Yes that’s what earth probably is.
Let’s talk about Gliese 581. We have sent two signals to this one location. Two signals in two years. Why?
A signal was detected from this system but they crap all over the vastly experienced scientists that found the signal.

The program has found around 400 suspicious signals, but there is not enough data to prove that they belong to extraterrestrial intelligence. 400 signal we never heard anything about with zero data available for other scientists to study. Probably nothing to it lol.
