On August 19, 1964, a diary labeled: “Diary of Impressions & Observations of Eric Ritz, began Sept. 5th 1963” was found at a Continental Railways bus station in Los Angeles, CA, and was turned into the FBI.
According to the diary, “Eric Ritzek” (the author), and his partner, “Charles”, laid plans to travel to Mexico City with Lee Harvey Oswald. There, Ritzek claimed to turn Oswald into a programmed assassin to kill JFK…and eventually claimed to do the same to Jack Ruby - to kill Oswald
Non-human?
Dozens of quotes (in bold) imply that Ritzek believes (or is posing) as some sort of NHI, non-human entity.
Based on these constant references, the reader assumes he is either inhabiting Ritzek's body/brain to carry out his mission...is shapeshifting(?) as a lookalike to fool others...or is just using Ritzek's name to obfuscate, and carry out the mission.
In any case, the diary never explicitly states Ritzek's (or Charles') purported origin or methods, which makes the diary all the more strange.
Here's a sample NHI quote:
“You were acting like a human and I couldn’t tolerate that. I shall return home before the expiration of the holidays, and report in full to our superiors. I regret having to report Charles’ paramount weakness. But it must be reported to prevent such a recurrence, in future experiments with the people of the planet called Earth.”
“In the ten years we have been stationed here, Charles showed an overwhelming weakness and desire to be a human being.”

WTF?
Is this document the ramblings of a schizophrenic nutcase? Or some weird-ass psyop to send the Russians down an MKULTRA rabbit hole? And why all the references to a 'power hungry' financier in Texas (LBJ?)?
No matter what, it's one of the craziest JFK documents in existence - and reads like an episode of the Twilight Zone.
Fun fact: although some things don't seem to line up to the official story of the case (ex: Jack Ruby's involvement is pretty random in the diary - unless Charles set up the meeting without Ritzek knowing), many dates and locations in the diary actually line up with Oswald's now-disclosed trip to Mexico. Also, this diary was found PRIOR to the release of the infamous Warren Commission Report, which ostensibly delivered the evidence of the assassination to the American people on 9/24/64.

“Charles has returned to our room, and has observed me making my observation. He was at first disturbed and urged me to destroy the previous. Well I hardly think that is necessary since I’ve only begun this narrative. He fretted a few minutes and relented. ‘Of course’, he said, ‘You are writing history itself.’ And he made me promise that I would not reveal this book to no man during both our life times. ‘Then the inevitable truth will be known’, said he.”

“Had an entertaining evening, previous. Charles was delighted. For weeks I have been exercising my skills and powers as a hypnotist over this certain young lady. Formerly of high chastity and moral character.”
“I managed to trigger the final destruction of the girl’s will by a previous suggestion las week. I simply bit off the end of a cigar and spat it upon the floor, and Carol desired Charles and myself as her lover.”

Sept 10, 1963
“Charles and I obtained our visas to the United States and Mexico. An awful lot of red tape to go through. I really consider myself and Charles citizens of the universe, personally, I owe no allegiance to no one but myself.”
“I read in the papers where it has been announced that Carol’s heart failed in her sleep. What a pity. So young, so beautiful, so chaste - to her way of thinking.”
“Charles has received a letter today from America, Texas in fact. It contained thousands of dollars. Charles has declined to divulge the identity of our benefactor.”
“Charles had informed me that the hour is near at hand to divulge the purpose of our mission.”
Related note: JFK researcher H.P. Albarelli was one of the few researchers to investigate Ritzek's diary in his book, High Strangeness and Synchronicity in the JFK Assassination.
Albarelli obtained one interesting copy of the diary which had a hand written note on its second page that read: "Ritzek-Albert Schweitzer College, Switzerland, enrolled/files" (p. 328).
Albarelli noted that he didn’t want to cloud or complicate matters by pointing this reference to the Albert Schweitzer College. However anyone familiar with the JFK assassination will be alarmed by the very name of the college, since it was the college that Oswald applied on March 1959 to enroll and attend the college's third term, from April 12 to June 27, 1960. Oswald never appeared at the college and instead traveled to Moscow to defect and tried to denounce his American citizenship.
Oswald's mother told the FBI that, while her son was en route to Switzerland, he had his birth certificate with him. Oswald was temporarily missing according to her, and FBI Director Hoover wrote to the State Department that "an impostor might be using Oswald's birth certificate."

“Charles plans to launch a great adventure purely in the interest of observing political science and human psychology. Our goal is to kill the American president, John F. Kennedy. Truly a once in many puny lifetimes opportunity for valued observatory and knowledge.”
“Actually all men are bug-like leeches. Who allow themselves to be used as tools in the hands of the skilled craftsman to further their own lusts for glory.”
Sept 20, 1963
“Charles was gone a few hours this morning. When he returned to our hotel room he brought a chap of about our age. After I had a chance to observe him I found him to be likable on the surface, but he really is a despondent little worm. Professes to be a Communist or some such thing.”
“I found Lee Harvey Oswald to be an easy subject. I do honestly believe he could be induced to anything even his own destruction. Which will have to be done.”

“I worked with Lee Harvey Oswald (I must record the name, for he will prove history greatest tool) all this week. He is aboard this very bus as we are traveling through Mexico to Mexico City. He is not presently in a trance. But he knows not why he travels thusly. Nor does he remember Charles and myself. A well made tool in our hands. Poor bug like fool. —Evermore,”
