The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.

Dungeon Meshi is a well liked manga, and an adaptation by Studio Trigger is now airing. If you haven't picked this one up, consider joining us. Both for fun and as a way of contributing to activity on Lemmy.
The party is now on the third level of the dungeon, and we see the first multi-chapter mini-arc from the manga adapted into single episode. Laios and his party have to get past a room full of magical, moving, hostile suits of armor. How will they pull it off? What will they learn about this monster?
Laios very much wants to know, what living suits of armor taste like. The rest of the gang is pretty sure they're just normal metal with a spell cast upon them. But are they?
Remember not to spoil anything if you're a manga reader, but feel free to elaborate on tidbits of lore that may not be coming through in the adaptation.

In this episode the gang continues their journey through the second level of the dungeon, the environment of which I am loving to see more of. When the gang gets hungry again, they look for yet more monsters to hunt for food, this time a basilisk, for at least partially "normal" meat. Shenanigans involving mandrakes also ensue.
Marcille makes a mistake, and reveals her vulnerable side. The first hints of the fantastic characterization I love this series for.

Dungeon Meshi is a well liked manga, and an adaptation by Studio Trigger is now airing. It's about a party of dungeon adventurers. They unfortunately get killed, and all but one of them successfully revives. Out of money and food, and with some party members leaving. The heroes decide to venture back into the dungeon to save their lost companion, surviving by eating the monsters they kill.
Hilarity, but also a fantastic story and good character development, ensues.
Remember not to spoil anything if you're a manga reader. Suffice to say if the adaptation stays at this level, we are in for quite a ride.
