I have really bad arthritis in my right hand, I can't seem to claw grip anymore. I want to keep playing CS, but I find it difficult to play longer than an hour now and even when I play now my tracking seems off.

(I'm currently 21k elo in cs2, and I want to try to push for 25k elo) but I just find it incredibly difficult now. Am I going to be seeing retirement soon? Anyone else in similar situation or has gone through this?

I don't wanna quit gaming :(

Hello, I am new to AM5, I have a x670e MSI Tomohawk and all 4 sata ports are being populated and the top three m.2 slots are populated with the exception of the very bottom m.2 is not. I have a 4080 super in top pcie and my elgato capture card is slotted into the bottom pcei and its receiving 0 power. what can cause this? I saw some other posts with people saying the same thing but no solution. can nvme drives cause this or sata inputs?

Since this will hopefully be the last upgrade my gaming rig gets for a long time, I thought I would this time. The last parts I needed to take my AM4 platform as far as it can reasonably go are finally here! I can't wait to find time to finally install them this weekend.

Currently running a 5600X with a Wraith Prism cooler. It won't be as significant of a difference for me as the same upgrade was for my buddy from his 1800X, but it will still be a big improvement if charts from Gamers Nexus and other places online are to be believed. I have no reason to believe they are not.

I have these earbuds which are great for pc gaming/portable gaming due to a USB-C dongle which has zero latency, but would like an over-ear alternative. Currently using my trusty Sony WH-1000XM3 but this is bluetooth so pretty high lag.

Advice?

I was considering Starforge. What’s everyone’s thoughts on them? Any other recommendations?

Should I bite the bullet and just try to build it myself (even though I have no idea what I’m doing)?

Is my PSU dying? (zerobytes.monster)

I have a reoccuring issue since last December. My PC can shut down in sort of "buggy" way. What I mean by that is that PC seemingly shuts down completely but power LED stay on. When I press the power button, it turns on but there is no display. To make it work properly again I need to shut it down once more by holding power button, and then start it again.

Last two times it happened (yesterday and in August) were a bit different and I'm not 100% sure it's my PC but I suspect it is. This time lights in the entire flat flicker once for 0.1s which even "reboots" TV in the living room. PC is in even worse state because fans still work, as well as GPU, but there is no display, just like in previous cases. Additionally, PC does not even react to hold of the power button. I need to flip the switch on PSU to shut it down. It starts properly afterwards.

The worst part is this issue happens every 2-3 months so proper troubleshooting is basically impossible. It's surprising if my PSU is faulty since it's a high-end model (Corsair HX1000) and I have it only for not even 3 years, but I suppose even the best can fail prematurely. There are no fails reported in event viewer except for ever-so-helpful Kernel power. My build is:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x3d
  • GPU: MSI RTX 3090 Suprim X
  • Mobo: Gigabyte B550 Aourus Elite V2
  • RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB 3600 MHz
  • PSU (again): Corsair HX1000

Hello, I’m just trying to gather what makes the most sense for me. I have a Radeon Red Devil 570. The games I’m starting to play seem to struggle, I think I’ve pushed my card to its limit. I don’t want to spend too much for a newer/ new to me Gpu, I think 500 will get me something really nice. I’m over with getting used. I think at this point anything will be an upgrade. I’m curious on what yall would recommend?

I think it's cool Amazon remembers this stuff like this for me. The 560gtx-ti came over from an older build.

Notice VR ready seems to be replaced by AI ready these days.

My pc draws like 600w average according to pc part picker. I wanted a UPS that doesn’t break the bank because my electricity is pretty clean to my knowledge so it would be in use heaps but I would love to have it to be safe. Is there a good cheap one preferably on Amazon that is like max 150 aud if possible. Also I’m really un educated on UPS’s so any advice would be amazing

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at buying a 32 inch 4k monitor. I been browsing and seen 2 monitors that would fit my budget. Which one would you pick between:

https://www.umart.com.au/product/samsung-odyssey-32in-qhd-ips-165hz-freesync-gaming-monitor-ls32ag524pexxy-65308

or:

https://www.umart.com.au/product/gigabyte-31-5in-uhd-ips-4k-144hz-gaming-monitor-m32u-au-60888

Or if you have another recommendations I would gladly want to hear it!

TIA

So I don't really have a budget in mind but id like to be under or around 1500.

I was looking at the 7900x or 4070 ti super though i am leaning towards the latter.

As for the cpu I ordered a bundle on amazon of the ryzen 7 7700x and msi mag b650 tomahawk.

I think for the case I'm going to go for the Montech King 95 pro.

I know I want a liquid cooler and for that I'd like to go with an NZXT one though im not sure which one.

I dont know what Powersupply to get I also dont know.

For ram I think im going to go for a corsair vengeance ddr5.

Id like a recommendation on if the asus strix b650e-f is a better choice and if so is there also a better choice cpu wise.

I guess what I'm looking for is optimization and any advice on what to change and/or add to the build. I currently have a 144hz 1080p asus monitor and an aoc q27g3xmn on its way (thanks hurricane helene). Im looking to have this pc to play visually beautiful games w rt on and also be able to play competitive games like siege. Thank you guys.

Im planning on using this for fivem and lspdfr on gta and maybe a few other games. Am I buying too much power or is this a dumb buy? What do you think?

Bought a powerspec G907 open box at 1500 dollars. I'm 99% sure the original "issue" it had was it was missing the front panel of the case. I just opened it and unless I'm touching a ghost all the panels are there. Is there anything I should check for in case the issue was listed wrong or something?

Hey Everyone,

I'm interested in buying the MSI prebuild https://www.costco.com/.product.1848822.html

https://preview.redd.it/83t9z6233vtd1.png?width=1060&format=png&auto=webp&s=a7b1075760f1278223175bf1a0a926f2d13fb4c6

  • 64GB DDR5 5600MHz RAM

Drives:

  • 2TB NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive
  • No Optical Drive

Operating System:

  • Microsoft® Windows 11 Home (64-bit)

Communications:

  • Wi-Fi 7 (2x2/360) Gig+ and Bluetooth 5.4

Graphics:

  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4080 SUPER, 16GB

Audio:

  • 7.1 HD Audio (Realtek ALC4080)

TOTAL PRICE $2299

I have built PC's for about 25 years now and am very familiar with how fun, timely, and frustrating that can be. I have been in the market for an upgrade and my friend and I stumbled across this deal on Costco. I have used MSI products in the past and am familiar with some of the quality issues with the prebuilds, the heating issues with 14900F processors and potential cooling issues with the RTX 4080. I figure, those can all be worked out.

Simply asking, thoughts on the value of this prebuild?
