Hi all,

Wow where do I even start. Dropped a lot of money on a brand new PC, built it correctly (I hope), and it's not gotten off to the flying start I thought it would have.

It happens mainly when I'm trying to play Steam games, but I was also scrolling LinkedIn this morning, throwing condescending daggers at random posts and my PC did the same thing- BSOD, dpc_watchdog_violation. I've spent DAYS trying to solve it, it seems like a lot of things can trigger this.

My PC looks like :

AMD Ryzen7950x3D

MSI Tomahawk B650 WiFi

GTX 4080 Super

Corsair 64GB Ram

I assume you'll also need to see stuff from a minidump file, but what exactly do you need?

I'm looking for parts for my next setup. It'll basically be an entire new computer. I have a list of what I want next, but I haven't been in the loop with computers since 2019. Just looking for some feed back if these parts would work well together, if there are better options, or if i can reuse any parts into the new one. Keep in mind, my budget would be roughly around $1,600 and I want to be able to game at 1440p ~120fps.

Current parts: Gigabtye G1 Gaming GTX 1070 8gb Ryzen 5 2600 @3.4ghz G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB @3200mhz Gigabyte B450 Aorus M Cooler Master Hyper 212 Corsair CX450 Fractal Design Meshify C

New parts: Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4070 Ti 16GB Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5ghz G.Skil Ripjaws S5 32GB @6000mhz Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX Thermalright Peerless Assassin Corsair RM850x NZXT H6 Flow

My idea with this list is just a direct jump in generations, with keeping the same brands and model lines. If these parts aren't really reliable or just janky in some weird way, please let me know. Thanks for reading c:

I come from an intel core 2 duo e7400 and amd r7 240 gpu, I might change some parts like for example instead of a rx 7800xt I might get a 7700xt. Also I found some parts like the r7 5800x instead of 1000 ron, i found it at 700 ron. And i am not getting am5. Im skipping it. https://ro.pcpartpicker.com/list/sWX2qR

Last week I bought this monitor (LG 27GS75Q) from Amazon, and after just a few minutes of use, I noticed these issues/flickering (I’m not sure what to call them). Videos for reference https://imgur.com/a/QXuJnHq

I tried the same monitor on a laptop, and it has the same issue. I also tried different cables, but the issue persists. To rule out a problem with the video card on my main PC, I also tried using my old monitor (LG 27GN850), and it works without these issues.

Should I return the product, or is there any other test or fix I can try before doing so?

I’m disabled so I can’t sit for to long and my pc is in the hall room and sitting to long hurts my back and my tailbone stuff how could I move my setup into my room and play on the bed without takeing much space in my room it’s pretty small cus there is 2 beds one for me and my mom it’s like queen size and a hospital bed for my brother
