Are there any disadvantages to paying off your mortgage? Can you always just get another mortgage later on, or doesn’t it work that way? This is in Canada, where mortgage interest is not tax deductible.

I have started receiving mail for an LLC in another state... my home address is listed as "The principal address" and other than two mentions of the LLC filing from those states, I cannot find any information on what this LLC is... suggestions? (also, not sure if this is the right place to ask)

My two are:

I will not pay HSA eligible bills out of pocket, keep the receipts for X years and then reimburse myself for them in the future.

I will not switch jobs every 4 years even if it statistically could increase my salary significantly.

Hey everyone! I loved personalfinance on reddit and I'm really looking forward to reading useful personal finance advice on here.

It would be great to hear everyone's short, mid and long term financial goals.

Mine are:
Short term - save up a better emergency fund
Mid - plan to pay off our mortgage (8 years)
Long term - really not sure!? Work on our financial security more?

Not really sure what's going on right now. I tried to create a new magazine but it seems to me like that was not what I actually intended to do.
