The NFT shit was the biggest nothing burger in recent history because assholes in charge thought they should be links to images and not rights to digital licenses. Imagine being able to resell your steam library, the original dev gets a tax and the store gets a tax on the sale. It was literally an infinite money generator but the idea of people not being dicked down in ToS for faux ownership was too scary even for gabe. GME could have made it work...
