That's because "America" in their world is not a diverse melting pot, but instead a Christian white ethnostate.

Un-ironicly (I believe because I've seen the car he drives plastered in maga paraphernalia) there's a nutter who has a "cancel cancel culture" in their yard. Also "choke the woke" but that one's less irony and more just mean.
