A magical moment that is! We had a rescue cat that took over two years before she came to my lap.

Lol my cat just meows in annoyance when I pick her up, and struggles to get out of my hand.

He jumped up on the couch by himself. I have had to force myself not to pick him up. I’m trying to be patient and respectful. 😂😂

It's important not to force this. Not all cats like to get pet either. Especially with cats you need to respect their choice and space if they require that.

But eventually they hopefully will go on your lap.
