serious

We live in a galaxy with hundreds or thousands of intelligent life, but we didn't discovered no one yet. This fact is scary because we will face them sometime and what we will do? What we will bring to the table? Nothing. So we should work to be in a position to discovery intelligence and not to be discovered, to do something about and have the power to discuss what we should do. People are not interested in this fact and are just hiding from reality. If we introduce ourselves to the galaxy as idiots who didn't believe there was life in the galaxy because we didn't see it, they will treat us like we are: idiots. Space exploration is neglected so much... There should be a tax just to it, and people working hard to see where are they.
