Yes this increased foot traffic is certainly due to their DEI policies they haven't advertised since February and not because of the very clearly impending economic collapse

As a Canadian trying to boycott a lot of US companies, Costco gets a pass for me because of this!
Now when I go to Costco, I look for things that aren’t specifically US made and try to find alternatives.
But seriously, good on Costco for standing up for human rights.
Fuck Trump!
They repatriate their Canadian profits to the US so your money is helping fund trumps warchest. They also aren't especially progressive when it comes to dealing with all of their suppliers.
Can you please expand on the second part? Which stores are a better alternative for that, genuinely asking? It would be silly to have an image that Costco is perfect, but they still seem like a "least bad" option that I'm not aware of many alternatives.
Costco is also known for treating it's employees well.
Costco is pretty good about stocking local products, so you should still be able to buy Canadian.
I've seen a lot of Mexican produce as well
Mexico deserves support, imo.
Absolutely, didn't mean that in a negative way, but as an alternative to USA stuff.
No worries, friend! I didn't take it positively or negatively, just putting it out there.
Fuck Elon!
Costco has always been pretty progressive compared to all it's competition. I'm pleased to see them continue to be decent and not bend the knee to the dictatorship.
But won't Trump make an executive order forcing them to stop DEI'ing?!? 🤔
It's starting to seem like none of them were doing anything illegal, but most of them were cowards at best.
