Times are tough

If only there were someone in charge who could do things that would make things 'not so tough'... Like increasing minimum wage, encouraging unionization, improving healthcare... and taking millionaires and billionaires to pay for it...

Gotta add "Eligible but did not note" to those pie charts to give you an idea of how tragic it really is.

Thug Ford got a 67% majority provincial government with 7% of eligible voters choosing him.

Those people don't have any issues with trying to kill you anyway. It's the 99.99% of people who don't want a brick through their windshield that you're preparing for.

Two things:

First, cyclists should start wearing large chains and locks which can be tossed at aggressive / careless drivers. Similar to how pedestrians occasionally carry (usually foam) bricks to motivate the correct behaviour from drivers.

Second, they need to bring this protest to Thug Ford's riding -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etobicoke_North_(provincial_electoral_district) Make his constitents miserable, and you might see a change faster than any other method.

Time to give your local addicts bus fare to Etobicoke. Let Doug deal with it in his own back yard.

I mean, if I were an opponent of the USA, I'd be celebrating. Putin and Xi accomplished the total and complete destruction of the USA by simply amplifying the worst voices. No shots fired, no military deployment. Osama bin Laden would be spinning in his grave if he weren't buried at sea.

Yup, this is a 30 minute job - dig a hole (preferably from the upwind side) beside the critter, roll it into said hole, bury it. If you want to keep critters out, have your local dude urinate around it every day. It'll be gone in the spring.

A broken voting system, plus weaponized apathy. He got 66+% of the seats in Ontario's Parliament with 17% of eligible voters choosing their local conservative candidate.

Published polls for MONTHS before the election showed he was going to win by a landslide -- so people stayed home, thinking it was pointless. They're doing it in the USA right now with slanted polls showing it's a toss-up, even though exit polls show that the majority of early voters are women.

Ha. I'm going to take a bunch of edibles and listen to music on my old school iPod and sleep 12+ hours.

The best part is that most people can't absorb a $160k judgement, and the landlord would likely have to sell the home they were renting. The person who was evicted should be first in line to be able to buy the prior home.

Can you share links to those articles? I'm finding a lot of dead ends.
