I was wondering why all the downvotes. I think I see, the title was just a riff on the theme song... I don't say where I got this stuff because there's no point. You won't find the same thing at the same thrift store again. But for the record, the Value Village on Sources.

I'll get to that eventually. I still enjoy popping DVDs in the laptop.

All 6 seasons with 6 still sealed. Nostalgia, baby. I miss the '90s!

But Daaaaaaaad, all the other kids are getting a horse farm!

"documentating" is not a word.

We bailed as we’re still nervous about lines and groups (#covid)

Um, what?

Looks like Easter weekend will be movie-watching weather...

Sharpen you up before a bit of the old ultraviolence

A real horroshow Bluray

The technology behind it has it’s legitimate uses

Unlike that apostrophe.

A pleasant side-effect of getting them that quickly is that those devil-spawn price stickers haven't had time to merge into the box material and peel right off.

A nice hat trick for today. I happened to be there when they were bringing fresh meat to the shelves. Picked 'em right off the cart. I mean "The Prisoner"? Come on now. Cosmos 2014 on Bluray?

Wasn't the Electoral College also supposed to serve that purpose?

More fiber? What kind of movements are we talking about?

Hey for 4$ who can complain? Each disc is immaculate.

Not sure if this falls into "thrifting". This store used to have pleasant deals on materials but I'd say in the last few years they went nuts with the prices.

The only deal I ever got there was an IKEA filing cabinet on wheels in new condition for like 20$. The kind of IKEA stuff that had heft to it, not the newer stuff.

No wonder they closed, charging twice the price of new for donated items. Far worse than Renaissance or VV.

It's like new. I guess I'll have to start playing games now, does Solitaire support joysticks?

C'est rare que je trouve des séries Québecoises. Je suis bien content d'avoir trouvé celle-ci, mais trouver la Saison 2... pas sur

I regularly find HDDVDs and the best part is they're always priced as a DVD. This one looks new. Maybe it was part of a starter bundle with someone's player years ago.

I don't even care about Star Wars due to my crippling cynicism, but for $4.50 who cares!

Hey for $4.50, I'm pretty happy, plus it comes with a Bluray. I hope my next thrift find is a UHD player...

I noticed the "coming soon" sign a while back and now it's open. It's definitely a sense of "déjà vu", it looks pretty much like a Value Village in its layout, prices are the same. Lots of clothes, pots and pans, a few shelves of electronics, and lots of DVDs and VHS. Plus it's a 5 minute walk from the St Jacques Renaissance.

I thought those were just standard embossed letters but they're actually stickers and look really good. This is why I like physical media. And 1980s cheese.
