Okay but why? What's the point exactly? Why discriminate against white farmers purely based on the color of their skin? Especially in the farming industry, both are doing an insanely tough job and they need people to buy their products. I think it's wrong to not buy from a local farmer because he's white and instead go to a black farmer that's 30 minutes away, for example.

If I'm living in a village and we have a white farmer, I buy there. If it's a black farmer, I buy there. And hell, I might buy from both if they have different products. Win-Win Situation.

The problem is that it's a fundamentally good idea to support your local farmers and businesses, but you're artificially injecting the race card yet again instead of just ignoring the skin color for once. It's someone who sells you carrots and potatoes, why care about the race? Why support especially a black farmer? There's no reason for it tbh - support your local business.

I know that american history isn't that long so there's a lot of that in it, but I can assure you that there are a lot of historic events in the history of other countries that are more than that.

That's not what happens - games and movies are claiming to be "as historically accurate as possible" just to have blatant mistakes all over it for the sake of diversity.

That's a stupid take tbh. Nobody is against those things. What people have a problem with is the side effects. Very obvious to see in the entertainment sector where entire historic events and facts are ignored for the sake of DEI. Saw that with the cleopatra movie and is currently a big problem with assassins creed shadows which is literally insulting large parts of japanese culture just so they can put their western morals into it.

It's a bit sad that it's just the "black farmers". If possible, getting your stuff from a local market or even a farmer is always a good thing, no matter if it's a black or white farmer. I have that here in austria where I get most of my meat and cheese directly from the farmer and it's not just insanely tasty but also cheaper than from the grocery store.

Defederation means that an admin of an instance excludes one or more instances from communicating with his. I'm not 100% sure what every implication is, but roughly, the instances can't communicate with each other, so if lemmy.world defederates from lemmy.zip, for example, we could not have this conversation right now. You also would not see any posts from lemmy.zip and I would not see any from lemmy.world

Nobody on hexbear is sane. One of the worst Lemmy instances. Many other instances already defederated from it and I can honestly just advice you to not interact with them.

If anyone from hexbear insults you, it's a good thing. That means you're still human.

Das hat auch nie jemand behauptet, da spielt auch ne Menge andere Dinge rein, wie eben sozialer Stand, wirtschaftliche Situation etc. Aber das kann einfach alles keine Ausrede sein. Egal wie scheiße mein Leben aktuell läuft, und wenn man aus seinem Land flüchten muss, läufts richtig scheiße, es gibt niemandem das Recht, sich so zu verhalten, wie es manche eben tun.

Es geht um eine Statistik von Straftaten, nicht potentiell böser Taten.

Eine Familie aus drei Menschen und einem Hund. 25% der Familie haben 40% der Beine.

Erstens machst du keine Statistik mit einer so geringen Probengröße, zweitens ist das Beispiel sehr dürftig. Anderes Beispiel, wenn du 10.000 Würfel rollst, wirst du alle Zahlen ungefähr gleich oft rollen, nimmst du 2000 Würfel weg, ist das Verhältnis immer noch ähnlich.

Wenn ein Konzern deutlich Gewinn macht und das dann aber als Bonus an Vorstand und Aktionäre ausschüttet während die Angestellten mit einem freundlichen Weihnachstbrief bedacht werden, obwohl sie den Großteil der Arbeit geleistet haben, ist das für mich eine Ungerechtigkeit.

Das passiert auch, wenn man es denn zweifelsfrei feststellen kann. 2016 gab es eine Explosion bei BASF, bei der Sicherheitsprotokolle nicht eingehalten wurden oder aus Sparmaßnahmen nicht investiert wurde, hier wurden einige Manager wegen fahrlässiger Tötung oder Körperverletzung verurteilt. Bei Tönnies gab es auch immer wieder Verletzungen und in einigen Fällen wurden Werkleiter etc. in Haftung genommen. Es ist halt schwer, immer genau den einen Schuldigen zu finden, wenn dutzende Leute ggf. die Verantwortung haben können.

Nein, tut es nicht. Du versuchst hier, Kapitalismuskritik und die Ungleichheiten, die durch große Konzerne entstehen können, mit Straftaten gleichzusetzen, was völliger Humbug ist. Wenn ich bei Amazon im Lager ausgebeutet werde, dann ist das zwar scheiße, aber es schadet niemandem. Amazon bekommt Arbeitsleistung, ich bekomme Geld (zwar zu wenig, aber Geld) und andere ihre Waren. Win-Win-Win, auch wenn ich erstmal den geringsten Win habe. Wenn ein Mensch aus Langeweile auf einer Sylvesterparty eine Frau vergewaltigt, sieht das halt schon wieder anders aus.

Das sind Projekte, die Jahrzehnte laufen - die Zeit haben wir nicht. Wir brauchen akut Abhilfe für die dringendsten Probleme. Wobei das inzwischen eh schon zu spät ist. Im Februar haben wir ohnehin die CDU/AfD am Drücker, weil man eben jahrelang politisch verschissen hat.
