I almost feel like reading the article to find out which of the two assholes here might be in the right but I’m finding it hard to care enough - they’re all so terrible.

Yes you probably have great form, are good at it, and your body type responds well for that effect in that way. Many people would react differently, though. For example if you look at all the elite climbers they all just look really slim and in tight strong shape like swimmers or something. Their butts are in great shape, but just in the normal range like a runner or something.

More like rock climb for a long while right? Beginners will overuse their arms and not use their legs enough, and still even when you’re getting good the distribution of effort is total body so it doesn’t seem butt / glutes specific? If you really want to focus on butt do squats type workouts etc. but I’m being pedantic, rock climbing is awesome more people should do it.

Ha, I watch YouTube videos in the day while working, so the yin and yang opposite from you. I’ll give you one idea: seek to improve Lemmy’s traction in search engines when people are looking for real world human info on topics. Many people come across Reddit via info in search, I imagine. If very good and useful posts in Lemmy could do the same it might help.

Could also try and be mindful about which kinds of posts are the most useful and likely to have good medium term relevance and try to cultivate them. Ones that come to mind for me are ones where people ask about and share their favorite but maybe not well known open source or niche software, or life hacks and similar. These kinds of posts can generate a lot of gem info and discussion.

She’s a piece of shit.

Hi, I checked out piefed, signed up and used it, and like it. But it seems like all or many of the posts there are from Lemmy, or was my imagination, or how to know?

Anyway, what is supposed to be better about Piefed? Again I am open to it, just curious. I will say it loaded fast, that was nice. Thanks!
