Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

President Donald Trump said on Friday, June 27, that he is calling off trade negotiations with Canada in retaliation for taxes impacting US tech firms, adding that Ottawa will learn of their new tariff rate within a week.

Trump was referring to Canada's digital services tax, which was enacted last year and forecast to bring in Can$5.9 billion (US4.2 billion) over five years. While the measure is not new, US service providers will be "on the hook for a multi-billion dollar payment in Canada" come June 30, noted the Computer & Communications Industry Association recently.

Do you know the Ice Cream Man?
The Ice Cream Man?
The Ice Cream Man!
Do you know the Ice Cream Man
On Culver City’s lanes?

Yes, I know the Ice Cream Man,
The Ice Cream Man,
The Ice Cream Man.
Yes, I know the Ice Cream Man:
He’s friendly, kind, and plain.

He sells us cones and rocket pops,
He chimes his bell and never stops,
He smiles at kids and mops his brow—
But where, oh where can he be now?

Do you know the ICE patrols?
The ICE patrols?
The ICE patrols!
Do you know that ICE patrols
prowled Culver City’s lanes?

Oh yes, I know the ICE patrols,
The ICE patrols,
The ICE patrols.
With badges, boots, and hearts of coal,
They took our friend away.

So now we miss the Ice Cream Man,
The Ice Cream Man,
The Ice Cream Man.
No more treats from his old cart—
Just silence on the lane.

But hey, at least the law was served,
And justice done (or so they say),
For nothing says “safe neighborhood”
Like chasing joy away.

I already have a Canadian company hosting my domain and random emails; I create a new email for every service I signup for which forwards to another address so that I do not get junk mail, one address starts spamming me I can just turn off the address. Then I have my ISP’s email address which I am thinking of leaving, but this is all besides the point. I am stuck on my iPad and iPhone because of family things, does anyone know of a non US mail app to replace my iOS mail app, I want to stay away from proton? I have replaced Safari with Vivaldi no complaints, it works along side my piholes at blocking ads, I have almost replaced Reddit with Lemmy, I have replaced YouTube with Unwatched, I am in the process of moving my media to Jellyfin, I have replaced Apple’s media store with a bunch of arr apps, and I am replacing all my Apple computer devices with raspberry pi’s.

Deleting social media apps completely and leaving phones or other devices at home are other tips being recommended.
