Hi everyone!

I made this community early on when there were a few provinces without homes. Manitoba is beautiful, and I learned a lot when I went down the rabbit hole looking for relevant images for the banner/icon. However, I'm not from Manitoba, and it doesn't seem right for me to be the top moderator.

After we get some more local moderators, I'm open to staying on and helping out if that's needed. I'd just prefer leaving decisions to local users :)

Hey, I'm an American coming to Canada to get a bike in Winnipeg and was wondering what to do there since I will be there for probably a week (we live southwest US, so I might as well). Teen friendly if you can as the bike is for a teenager

Well, I'm gonna try to get this community going! It may be just me talking to myself for a while.

Anyway, from Winnipeg I really like St. James Burger, Santa Lucia Pizza (I think this is local), Baked Expectations, and Oh Doughnuts! Outside of Winnipeg, I like Big Smoak in Steinbach, Joe Beeverz in Brandon, Fundars in Lundar (this might not exist anymore), Hespelers in Niverville, and my family used to love Barney Gargles in Selkirk although I think the pandemic killed it.
