Without further ado, we present: SSLEX 3! Our third instalment of the Space Sebaceous Live Experience will feature 10 acts consisting of local bands and musicians in the Nanaimo youth scene! This will be an all ages, drug and alcohol free event with food and drink available. Doors at 12:30, music 1-9pm. Entry by donation. Acts include:
- Cyrus Reeves - local singer and rapper from Gabriola Island
- Red Lenses - up and coming singer/songwriter from Duncan
- Sitting Pissers - alternative Nanaimo supergroup
- Ryan Brio - prolific songwriter and guitarist/producer from Nanaimo/Montreal
- Electric Jane - energetic poppy rock tunes from Victoria
- Madi Duncan’s Amateur Hour - tight rock/indie group from Port Alberni
- Sex - loveable synth pop duo from Nanaimo
- Danger Box - face melting Nanaimo punk band
- Sebaceous Dirigibles - folky sonic prophets from Vancouver
