I've had a lot of fun in PoE 2, and largely agree with many of the positives and negatives that have been spoken about within the community. Saying that, I can't wait for a new PoE 1 league, and I think a lot of players are going to appreciate the comforts and quality of life we currently have in PoE 1. I was surprised myself how good it felt to be back. Part of me even questioned why I would want to return to playing PoE 2 as long as new PoE 1 leagues continue.

All that to say, the over a decade of refinement in PoE 1 certainly shows. One day PoE 2 might be a masterpiece like the original.

for some reason people are simply adamant that if they receive a whisper the item is suddenly undervalued.

I didn't think trade could get worse than PoE 1, but PoE 2 trade is the biggest pile of I've ever seen.

There's gotto be a rhetoric somewhere about relisting your items again and again until it simply never sells. People are so afraid of being "scammed" that they relist their item so high above its actual value that they ironically never sell it.

As the title says, they're lethal AF for melee sometimes, and I just got a mod that said it will drop a unique item. TLDR; it didn't. It had 'drop identified items' as always if that helps GGG. TY.

Please let the dodge-roll destroy objects like urns, pots and such. It feels strange not to be able to do so. Especially on tight corridor maps like crypts it would be nice to not be stuck in these hallways.

It's also a pretty much learned mechanic due to many other games.

Charms were supposed to be a replacement for having flasks effects, and having to always be activating them.... they don't.

It's EA, I get it. I think everybody can agree that Charms slots being locked behind a mod is "doubleplusungood", and disagrees with the notion of natural game progression.

Charms need to be buffed significantly, either giving reduced Resistances as a passive effect and having something similar to old potion mods whenever something occurs. Ex. The stun on process when stunned, which is fine, but could have mods that last for a few seconds that give increased armor or Evasion like they do in PoE1.

As of now they are borderline useless, lack a ton of clarity, and have no niche. Nobody in their right mind uses resistance charms because you CANNOT build around a random timer giving you resistance for 2 seconds during a game of one-shots. Hell, they could even make charms fucking cracked and roll random Pantheon Mods to bring that system of niche usefulness back.

PoE2 has so much potential, and charms are big doodoo right now and a massive piece of player power being slept on.

Edit: I used the phrase "trash design" which has now been replaced with something more tasteful.
