I don't think this actually updates the post's read status to Lemmy, so might just be a little UI bug.

Could you please consider to let the navigation bar at the bottom go into autohide while scrolling down and let it reappear when scrolling up?

Basically, the title. When opening a photo with my phone in landscape mode, frequently the bottom 5-10% of the photo is clipped off, and I cannot scroll down or zoom out to view it. Oddly, if I zoom in enough, then I can scroll down to view the clipped part.

I've only noticed it when my phone is rotated in landscape mode, so I'm not entirely sure if it's limited to that mode, or if a tall enough picture would cause the same thing in portrait mode

I've got multiple Lemmy accounts. I wanted to remove an account, so signed out of it.

This resulted in an empty account UI, no three dots to switch to an existing account, I had to close the app and start it again to see the account menu and then select an existing account to get it to work.

This is on the latest beta on Google Play

Currently, looking-tap behavior hides the comment. This should enable text selection instead.

Additionally, the comment hiding should be a visible option of its own.

1. Let me explain. When I enable the ratio of votes I can fully understand what's going on, however when I click it to make a vote it won't be counted (I checked it via browser). Furthermore, if I use swipe, it works, but opening a post after voting won't show me my vote, that's odd. Hopefully, it will be fixed.

2. I consider it as a UI glitch. I use the bottom navigation only mode. When I'm on the main page and tap the main tab it shows me animation as if I were going back from somewhere instead of showing the updating page animation.

When I pull down to refresh, I get different posts depending on whether I instantly release, vs holding for a second or two. Is this intentional?

I think the only app that allows us to customise fonts so far is Sync. Would love to be able to change font faces and sizes for posts and comments in Connect.

Personally I prefer a serif font for comments.

Up until the latest update, pressing back from the homepage would open the hamburger menu allowing for easy access to jump to a specific community or go to your profile etc.

I agree with people that this action being caused by the "back" key was unintuitive and unexpected and much prefer the new and more obvious result of pressing back from the homepage which is to exit the app. However, there is now no longer a way to easily open the hamburger menu when browsing one-handed and this is an oversight!

I propose that a "left swipe" from the homepage opens up this menu (currently swiping left from the homepage does nothing)

Having the option to block an instance from showing up in the All feed on a per account basis would be really convenient. Some things I only want to see some of the time.

Is there a way to only see post from communitys I've subscribed to? There is this functionally in many other lemmy ui's. It would go along with the All, Local feeds. Thanks!

First of all: Thanks for an amazing app!
When opening a comment through the inbox, then pressing back afterwards makes all comments show up twice in the list. Repeating this will make them show thrice.
Exiting and reopening the inbox solves the issue.
When I upvote a comment then press back it shows both 'versions' of the message.

I know about the show read option in instance settings, but I often like to revisit posts I've upvoted or haven't voted on, and my saved list gets heavy quickly. I can of course downvote and manually hide, but it would be a nice little convenience feature if it could happen automatically.

When you zoom into an image and move it to an image boundary Connect no longer exits zoom mode.

Hi, past couple days have seen a influx of new users so welcome everybody! This release is aimed at improving customization options and some requested improvements. The secondary buttons on post cards can now be customized, added a 'Hide above' option which will hide all posts above the selected post, and the upvote colour can now be customized (also applies to the new comment counter and swipe action background on upvote tiles).

• Fixed a bug with the subscribe button not being in the correct state within About Community
• & symbol now renders correctly on posts and comments
• global setting moved up within the Settings page to make it more obvious
• filter terms now accept regex (should start and end with a "/" eg /foo/)
• spoiler tags should now work for multi-line spoilers
• Added a toggle to display comment debug information (shows id, children count, hot rank, upvotes, downvotes - probably only useful for debugging).
• Fixed an issue where 'View More' is showing when it shouldn't be

Hi all, For days now I can't view any comments from any community with this account. I get a message that says: no comments. But at first, i got an api error i think ( i can't look it up to check, because today everything just says that there are no comments, even when it shows there are hundreds of comments). I can read the comments when reading them on the web, or with Jerboa for instance. And i have another account at beehaw, and there i can read the comments too.
