Why? Sometimes he makes it hard to root for him.
I think society back then had way different norms around violence. They used to hit kids for misbehaving.
@Gradually_Adjusting @Fredselfish Different norms around *comedy* violence. Actual Everett True level violence would get you jailed then or now!
