Given that the author seems to be fine being based in Teheran, I guess he isn't that "revolutionary"?
But besides that, yeah hard to say. At least it is a bit odd that the revolutionary guards are not specifically mentioned even though they are likely the main power brokers in the transition to the next supreme leader.
