In a world where the steam deck exists, I could not possibly give less of a shit about what Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft are planning on doing.

My problem is that I prefer owning physical games, preferably used, so the new Nintendo switch will hopefully be my go-to thing

I don’t think Nintendo will ever do it. Goes against their most basic philosophy.

I think that was certainly true ten years ago. But now? I honestly don't know what to make of Nintendo anymore. They have been so DMCA heavy against customers in recent years that I don't trust them to do anything right. They feel customer hostile.
