Actually, Russia doesn't have any conscripts in Ukraine.
Which is also the reason behind these numbers.
Every single Russian soldier currently in Ukraine has signed some paper consenting to be there. (Whether that signature was really voluntary is another question).
So in theory, Russia still has a vast reserve of conscripts they haven't committed yet.
But in practice, those conscripts are needed to do exactly what the Ukrainian conscripts are doing – protect their home country.
And even Putin doesn't have enough power and support to force conscripts into an aggressive war on foreign soil – that's something only America and Germany have managed so far.
What? There are many, many reports of Russian conscripts being killed in Ukraine
See, this is why I don't trust ANY news coming out of this war until it's over. Every reporting news agency has a propaganda based agenda, and some flat out lie.
And I have no idea where the truth lands. Maybe you're right. Maybe he's right. Who's to say?
Why would the war being over change that? If anything it would make it worse.
Because if the only question you're asking is "who's winning?", it would be hard to lie or cover up the fact that you lost. After it's over who won will be pretty clear.
