Hello,

It's been some time since I changed my phychiatrist, ( I wrote the reason in a previous post). the new phychiatrist think that I don't have phychotic symptoms instead he think that I just have social anxiety since I only think that people are talking about me and want to harm me, I am not actually believe that. he says I don't have schizophrenia because I don't have any phychotic symptoms anymore. he is decreasing the dose of antiphychotic and increasing the dose of anti-depressant.

I am no longer sure if I even had schizophrenia or my previous phychiatrist misdiagnosed me.

Psychiatrists can make mistakes, but watch yourself carefully. The fact you're not having psychosis anymore could be because your APs were working. If things start to get weird again on a lower dose, I would tell the psych ASAP.

You are right, I am still afraid of water that's why I don't take a bath frequently, I am also afraid of shaving my beard. However I haven't told this to my psychiatrist since I thought it was irrelevant. Please tell me if these are also symptoms of schizophrenia.

Since you already have a schizophrenia diagnosis, they sound like they're related to it. How soon can you talk to your psychiatrist? Can you send them a message?

I don't have their number so I can't send a message right now. However I will be going to the hospital after 20 days so then I can tell him about this.
