The bold fonts are too bold for QT flatpak apps, is there a way to fix it?

Is this this issue https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/issues/3007 ?

Could be, I see there's a lot of issues pertaining to that. Someone in one of them suggested to add access to

xdg-config/fontconfig:ro

But another user disagreed saying it's a band-aid solution. I don't know what to make of it

Maybe it's worth trying to add those paths with Flatseal?
