for free ebooks, as long as it lasts

https://www.gutenberg.org/ should probably also be mentioned in that regard, although it's only for things that are now in the public domain, wheras 1lib/zlibrary has "everything"

Lots of other options for ebooks. Two good ones are:

  • libgen.rs
  • b-ok.cc

Good people have made sure many mirrors of sites exist so people always have access to them. Ebooks and scihub are my two favourite things about the internet.

okay, b-ok.cc redicts me to 1lib.eu and libgen.rs I have no access to with HTTPS Everywhere. and to clarify most popular page takes forever.
