To set the scene, I think it was right for Carr to move on at the end of last season for everyone and the roster we've buit on the back of him, Waller moving etc. reliant upon that occurring.

However, seeing the good vibe in the locker room I would have loved to have seen Adams with Carr under AP and how that would have worked.

It might not have won a SB but reckon it could have been a fun season that was made you excited to watch the team.

With Carr we would still have Josh at HC. Jimmy devovlinginto the worst qb in the nfl is what ultimately got Josh canned.

The vibes would be so much worse and I doubt the team would be playing with as much emotion as we are now.

Plus we would still be dealing with the Carr wars and Carrs own problems as a QB. Probably don't have the same supporting cast because of the money Carr would be owed as well

I think we got the best possible outcome tbh. Even if Aiden ain't it we can draft a R1 QB.

Much better place to be in as of this specific moment imo.

I agree with most of this but can y’all stop with the money thing? The only difference would be Meyers. We didnt actually save a lot of money.

But losing Carr so McDaniels no longer had a scapegoat was worth it.

To be fair, Meyers has been a fuckin stud this season.

But you’re right on the scapegoat part.
