So I grew up in the bay area and I watched ALL three Raider Suoerbowl victoies in real time (live) on a 13 inch Sony TV

I also watched Montana and Young kick ass in SF for decades..and it was great football.

I love the Raiders...and all of our Raider Nation 4 ever

Here's my point.

The vast majority of fans, of eifher team, that I meet, will ruthlessly talk shit about the other team

WHY ?

AFC/NFC

They have ONLY faced each other 15 times and have Never played in a Superbowl matchup

It’s definitely a Bay Area thang. Born and raised in Oakland, diehard Raider fan my whole life. You definitely have to pick a side - I think it’s more of a hometown pride thing than anything else. And for most of my life we’ve been trash, but it’s like a “they’re my trash and you can’t talk shit about them” type thing. We’re loyal AF. 😂

I feel the same way about the Giants. Fuck them too. Although, our A’s will likely be following suit and moving to Vegas too like the Raiders did. It’s sad, but I am looking forward to them being a large market ball club and not operating as a big league farm team who trades out all of our talent for peanuts.

They already are a large market team. It’s the same fucking market. This small market bullshit is just a scam to fleece us of our money for a discount product on the field.
