Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Calling Manjaro bloated is a bit unfair because one of their goals is to provide a good out-of-the-box experience for beginners.
I call the entire list bollocks because the reasons why the distros are not good are more than questionable. You do not abandon or avoid a Distro just because there are 1 or 2 things you do not like, you always can change stuff on your own and tweak it as you go with it. You will also never find something that is perfect unless you create it on your own and with your own opinion of what is good.
They also have a minimal version.
