Is it possible to get a spell checker on lemmy? It's a little frustrating having to edit posts and comments to correct my horrndous typos.

I just started using Lemmy so I might be wrong, but I'd assume that spellchecking depends on your platform, so your browser or app you're using. Are you on pc?

I'm mostly using a pc desktop browser (chrome). Don't appear to have any spell checking.

Browsers nowadays have built-in or installable spellchecking, Chrome should be included (IIRC it's installed from their web store). Browsers on Linux and I think also Android can also use the system-wide installed spellcheckers; I don't think Windows has any such capability.

Thanks! I did not know this before. But I've definitely had spell checking on other websites, so presumably this can be integrated on the server side? I'll get me one of those extensions.
