I am new to investing to Lululemon, I recently came around to investing in higher quality pieces rather than leggings that only last a few washes. My main use for lululemon is hot yoga, specifically the yoga sculpt classes at core power(which can be very hot). I have tried on all the types of leggings that my lululemon store had and I really only liked the aligns. One store worker recommended the aligns for my hot yoga, and other recommended the WunderTrain for the sculpt classes. I did not really like the fit and comfort of the WunderTrains, but I am worried that the classes are too sweaty for the aligns and I don't want to ruin them by using them improperly. Any advice?

I really would like to just buy the aligns, but does really sweaty activity ruin them? I would hate to invest and then have them pill id:kww6b8u

They’re going to pill with constant friction/basically anything other than yoga. Even every day wear ruins them. But again they are made specifically for yoga. I would get them for hot yoga/regular yoga and nothing else. Like someone else said, try the wunder unders if you don’t like the wunder trains if you want longer lasting leggings. I do everything in wunder trains/wunder unders. The wunder unders are less restricting than the wunder trains and just as soft as the aligns but are made for training so they’ll last.

Also like someone else said, figure out your wash care of your prior leggings. If you decide to wash your aligns how you wash your leggings now, I’m assuming they won’t last. I’ve never had an issue with aligns and wash/care for them as expected; washing inside out, on cold, with like items, air drying/never putting them in the dryer on high heat. Never had an issue with pilling. id:kwzjpxb
