I refuse to acknowledge that IDF consists of humans. Fascists are not humans.

Considering some humans to be "not humans" is a primary tool of fascism.

Probably best to avoid de-humanizing anyone if you truly want to end fascism rather than re-create it under a different name.

Humans can do terrible, abhorrent things. It's good for us to remember that, as we are also human; And capable of the same atrocities if we aren't careful and vigilant.

they're human, but inhuman.

That's cool, but fascists are not humans because they consider others subhuman. Dehumanising the ones that dehumanise others is fair game, because we know for a fact that Israel recently officially called Palestinians "human animals" and have open goals to make Gaza look like Auschwitz. It becomes worse when Jews (Zionists) are the ones committing genocide.

~~Jesus what a trash headline. The article says nothing about Israel attacking Bethlehem or anywhere in the West Bank. The article only says people in Bethlehem are sad about what is happening.~~

~~Yes, there is a lot of bad stuff that the Israeli government does, but don't blatantly lie about stuff that doesn't happen like the truth doesn't matter~~.

Edit: The first article was hidden by the way my lemmy app handles links vs comment bodies and i misunderstood what I was clicking.

Thank you for correcting me! I got confused by how my lemmy app displays links vs links in comments.

The article says in the second paragraph that Bethlehem was "hit" with a raid by Israel.
