I thought that was a standard farming defense technique. Feed the local predators rotten sheep and they become disgusted at the sight of sheep.

@LennethAegis looks like this is a very similar process. But instead of waiting for the meat to rot, they are taking fresh meat lacing it with dewormer, and wrapping it in animal skin.

And probably easier on the farmer to not have to deal with rotten meat and fresh meat more likely to attract predators than rotten ones.

@LennethAegis Agreed. If I was a farmer, I would probably prefer to deal with fresh meat over rotten meat.

I wonder if predators would learn to detect the smell of dewormer and just avoid that and not the prey.

Or we could just stop exploiting "livestock" for profit/taste and it wouldn't be an issue at all.
