Lyme disease is the lesser problem. Where I live, a large amount of ticks carry a virus that causes encephalitis. Luckily I'm vaccinated against it, but many people aren't.

It looked like a pretty cool experience in Hannibal tho...

Not just any tick, but THE Tick. Spoon, motherfuckers...

If the ticks didn't get me, my allergies would.

Just take a shower afterwards

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Idk if that's serious, but that doesn't help with ticks

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Yes it does? It doesn't directly remove them, but it does allow you to see them and remove them yourself

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

OK but like the shower doesn't really contribute then

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Oh, would you rather drop the ticks you remove on the floor?

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Uuuh... no? Like they are dead then, so the trash I guess?

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

??? Yes it does? It takes ticks a bit of time to latch on and start sucking, by taking a shower shortly after you can wash the crawlers off and also check your full body for any latched on?

ticks scare me more than any giant tarantula ever would
