What are your favorite channels on the fediverse? I used to watch a lot of Youtube, but I'm trying to move to PeerTube now.
I mainly follow the channels on https://tilvids.com . Some channels from https://diode.zone , https://share.tube . I also watch some Luke Smith https://videos.lukesmith.xyz .
same, if you use invidious you get the higher quality content at a good pace for watching
Isn't invidious just an anonymizing-ish front-end to Youtube? Asking honestly - ie, I don't understand how you'd get any better or worse content if it's all Youtube anyway.
Programming, piano, reading, playing videogames or (table) tennis.
Specially piano. I love the creative freedom of jazz improv really relieving.

Alone
Lemmy & matrix(topics) is my new pastime. I squeez it in for 2-5min between work. It is off day & If I still feel bored then I doom scroll reddit. Then I write in my journey about stuff. Then I read my book( non academic). If all that fails to entertain me: YouTube ; which I regret after 2 hours.
Then I leave all my tech device and go for a walk, contemplating life.
Mainly spend free time watching Youtube of playing video games.
By making some music via ableton, practicing the bass guitar and the drumpads and by playing the piano.
I also play CS:GO, some valheim, some league of legends.

Meeting with my friends, reading or playing videogames. And if I don't feel like doing any of the above, I read posts on Lemmy, Reddit, Instagram, or Twitter.

Almost the same as you, instead of watching movies, I watch Youtube/browse Reddit/Hacker News/Lemmy. Any cool projects you are working on?
