Recommended Controller Software Version: Omada Controller v5.9 or above New Features/Enhancements:

  1. Supports IPv6.
  2. Supports Bonjour protocol.
  3. Supports multiple RADIUS authentication servers for captive portal and WPA-Enterprise.
  4. Supports diagnose tools function, includes ping, traceroute, packet capture and terminal. (Needs to work with Omada Controller v5.9 or above)
  5. Supports Lock to AP function.
  6. Supports reporting RADIUS username.
  7. Supports PMF (Protected Management Frames).
  8. Supports LLDP.
  9. Supports shared bandwidth while using SSID rate limit.
  10. Improves wireless stability.
  11. Improves multicast experiences.
  12. Improves band-steering experience.
  13. Improves privacy protection policies. Bug Fixes:
  14. Fixes client cannot obtain correct IPv6 address with dynamic VLAN. Notes:
  15. For EAP610-Outdoor V1 only.
  16. This version of firmware is applied to the Omada APP v3.0.X or above.
  17. This firmware is fully adapted to Omada SDN Controller v5.9 or above. You can follow Omada Controller Upgrade Guide to upgrade Omada Controller.
