lol I try hard to not take my life too seriously. Have some fun with it and if it doesn’t work then I can’t say I didn’t at least try :)
As a lady, I laughed just as hard at myself as I tried it on with just about the same results as you 😂😂 I wanted to love it so bad but it just looked so not good 😭
I think if I was even 10 lbs slimmer (and I have lost a decent amount of weight lately) that this top might have worked but the “dad” stomach, the light color, visible band and small boobies just make this awful. I’d reconsider a smaller flat cup insert would make it less obvious but I ain’t holding my breath.
I think the light color was the biggest fault which unfortunately was what made me like it the most, I found them on markdown at a store in white and strawberry milkshake but had to return. I love smoothcover fabric though!

You have great shoulders, I have to say! Totally get the sizing surprise, anything with a built in shelf bra fits 1-2 sizes smaller than the typical tanks & shirts at lululemon 😅
Thanks! That's good to know for sizing but I'm sure I won't be rocking any more tops with shelf bras anytime soon. While entertaining, it was also borderline traumatizing to get it on properly. All in good fun!

I figured that if I'm gonna look silly in lulu that I may as well share with my fellow lemonheads :) As you and both know, I've been here for a long time so those that do know me, know my style and my willingness to experiment. While I'd like my body to fit lulu perfectly like how it does for so many of you but alas this piece does me NO justice. At my age, nobody truly cares because I certainly don't so I may as well have some fun with it! The Mrs. says if it can't be returned then I'll have to live with it and wear it like all my other tops and just hope that nobody I know notices lol
I would just cut out the bra part 😅
I could do that but its probably easier for me to just return the top b/c it really doesn't do me any justice no matter what I do to it (or so I think that is).

It’s because it is THE most ridiculous looking top ever. Moreso than my croppy top tanks that were also a tad bit of a fail. Those were at least salvageable because I would wear them with overalls for an intentional look. A tank top that gives me “ta-ta”…. Well what can I say. Should I feel embarrassed or a little sexy?? Hahaha oh man…
I love their tanks with bras and kinda wanna try this now. Do we think it’s like a/b cup or c/d?
Definitely an A/B cup but since this is a size 12 that I suspect the cups were sized to be match the size of the top. I am definitely no expert here but on the bra pad it does say 10/12 so I’d say A/B cup for someone that is a size 10/12. I have seen C/D cups in store on standalone bras and these definitely are not that.

I bought a tank with a built-in bra and cut it out, and wear the bra I want under it. It fits better, too. Maybe that will help?!?!
