Holy hell I’m so glad someone posted this! I was just thinking last night about ordering from the men’s. I’m short and have a short torso, but everything is just so cropped and I don’t like it on me for some reason.

The men’s stuff is all longer too. Everything is so cropped in the women’s section..

I can’t wear any of the scubas because the sleeves are too short. I keep meaning to try mens but haven’t loved any of the colors yet.
Interesting conversation going on here. I think that for the most part, most of LLL stuff can be and should be simply labeled as unisex. Obvious exceptions would be articles like bras.
it’s also interesting that a lot of the commentary is about looser clothes, hence the draw towards the men’s line. For me, it’s the opposite (guy by the way). Besides the fact that I generally find the women’s line superior, I prefer the closer fitting articles for my yoga, Pilates, and running. Because of that, I’ve got a lot of and wear the women’s leggings and tanks (aligns). For the tops, it’s annoying when the men’s tops flow all over the place - especially with downward facing poses. The align tanks solved all of that for me.
Great read through all the comments!
Long torso 5’9 athletic / slim lady here. With the recent trend of young young children (I saw a 9 year old - talking about 4th grade having her mom help her with buying 2’s in align leggings), I just hate the fit of the women’s clothing these days.
A coworker told me that her 75 lb child wanted only Lulu for her birthday. 😡
I’ve moved over to the men’s section for jackets, joggers, and now contemplating shorts.
I don’t like color (neutrals girlie or jewel tones only) so I love the men’s section. Men’s S generally works for me - size women’s 6 - 8 for loose fitting bottoms - former 4 in tops but they’re too short now due to the cropping and catering to actual children.
Anyone able to give me deets on the fit of various men’s shorts? Small waist thicker hip /booty so unclear how it will work for me
I'm sized out on a lot of women's items unfortunately so it has crossed my mind...like a vest for example. I would love to own a LLL vest and I'm not a fan of the seasonal colors that came out in women's size 20 (lilac and light aqua). I'm not sure how men's sizes would work with my wide hips though (48.5") so that's the only reason I haven't tried anything yet. That and, I don't have a store nearby to try, so I'd have to order/return which I hate doing.
I did order a men's size XL vest in another brand, because they didn't have a plus size option in women's styles and it does fit albeit, it does become a little tighter than I'd like at the hips when zipped.
Curious to hear what others have to say and their experiences in wearing mens LL!
I'm very petite all around and so I probably wouldn't fit most men's stuff but I LOVE the men's alpaca crew neck I got on wmtm a couple months ago!
The fit (in xs) is amazing, even better than a women's oversized sweater on me for some reason (normally oversized sweaters are too bulky around my shoulders and upper arms).
It caught my eye because one of their female models was wearing it on the site. I would definitely check out the men's section again!
A while back a guy friend actually recommended I try the men’s joggers as I felt the women’s would be too form fitting and I’ve been reaching for men’s items since. Especially with every women’s item being so cropped right now. I love the men’s metal vent tech short and long sleeve, metal vent tech half zip, and surge warm half zip. I want to check out some of their shorts. Some women have posted try ons in this sub and they look fab!

I for one am waiting for that crop trend to fade away!

I have a long torso and it’s like all the women’s stuff is cropped now I’m like …. I love the down for it all men’s one cuz I don’t got that hourglass shape. I’m literally eyeing the metal vent tech half zip for myself too because I like a looser fit but I like the swiftly stuff because I also sweat so much

What's mine is mine and what's my husband's is also mine. 🙃
But for real, yes. I'm an oversized shirt (men's metalvent) and biker shorts (align 6 in) kinda gal. I love looser fitting clothing so men's is where it's at. The drysence (?) Hoodie is a fav and even pace breaker 5 ins are super comfy lounge wear.

I started shopping men's about a year ago. The arms of the short sleeve tees are longer and fit better. Things are longer and more forgiving when I just want to move freely. I love the women's lines but I don't always want clingy, skin tight, cropped clothes. I've got drysense and metal vent tees and hoodies for running. The surge half zips are awesome for colder weather run and less form fitting than it's rulu run tops. City sweat hoodies are more roomy and cozy. I stopped shopping the website by filtering women's and men's and now shop by color, fabric, and sport. Even the men's blazer fits me better. I wear a 10 or 12 in women's and mostly medium sometimes large in men's.

I have big titties and the men’s sweatshirts are my favorite. All the cropped shit doesn’t sit right on me, plus call me old but as an Elder Millennial I actually prefer to buy a whole shirt.

one of my favourite pairs of lulu joggers are the men’s City Sweats, they just seem to fit better than some of the women’s more form fitting joggers (I’m thinking of ready to rulu). not super baggy but not skin tight :)

ya if I want a jogger, I don’t want it to be form fitting a lot. I had the ready to rulu and they were okay, but imo nothing special, I have small legs too so I have to get everything in a cropped version too. I was looking at the adapted state joggers too but they also look to be a little tighter

Yessss for joggers and sweats especially! I’m 5’10” and all legs. Literally the only ones that don’t look like floods. Also lounge sweatshirts are way cozier.

I can only buy the men’s shorts! I find all of the ladies shorts to be unflattering on me, in my opinion. The Pace Breaker 5” are my absolute favourites!

Okay I’m just getting into running and ordered track that’s but if I don’t like it I’ll look into the men’s! I don’t like hotty hots waistband and the speed ups look weird on me
id:kwuukk8
Oh yes. I also appreciate the simplicity of S/M/L sizing
I am shameless in my love for oversized clothes though. Tight bottoms don’t bother me but if a shirt is pulling anywhere I lose my shit.

Women’s sizes require calculus to figure out (Guy by the way)
id:kwwh6dw
Omg yes when I was looking online and only saw that sizing I was like woah this is so much easier. And I’m the SAME WAY . Like I’ll wear tight shorts, loose shorts, tight pants, loose pants but if I can feel the shirt pull around my chest I’m out LOL

yea same it’s just not for me so I’m peeping mens section

I shop the men’s pants for work pants and get so many compliments on them. People are shocked to find out they are men’s but the fit is more work appropriate.
