I love that this article tells you that if you are connected to a Starlink satellite, your phone will show one or two bars of service. That is a detail I have not seen up until now.

Edit: According to this Tmo News article your phone will say "T-Mobile SpaceX" when you are connecting via StarLink satellites.

I wish my T-Mobile phone could SMS from inside my house or when facing south in my neighborhood.

As far as your house goes, I recommend Wi-Fi calling. I used to have the t-moble home internet in a very rural area. Inside the house, the signal was too weak for the device to work properly. But using the home internet gateway in a window, the device was strong enough to it to hold calls, and then I could use Wi-Fi calling from it anywhere in the house.
