COP29 has been a shining example of why humanity is fucked.

I've started to feel like we deserve whatever's coming.

We think we have sapience and forethought but we're just post hoc rationalizing machines who have once again bet everything on "natural selection" to preserve the species. Which means most of us have to die. But I guess we were all planning on doing that, anyway.

COP is being even more a clown show now and I thought it was bad when oil & gas and animal agriculture lobbyists showed up in an attempt to gas light everyone attending.
