None of this high school/frat house mentality is surprising at all. Derision and immaturity are the core undercurrent of their videos. A little while ago, I watched their rolling-dice computer build video. In it, Linus repeatedly insulted the staff members trying to help him while being completely unprepared for the content of the video. In some parts, he got angry over things that he would have known or prevented if he even spent 10 minutes thinking about the topic and seeing the parts. I have no doubt there were childish tantrums afterward, off camera.
