I've always wondered why in the film trilogy you don't see much direct fighting, it's always one character is about to finish off the other and he's saved somehow or something simply interrupts the fight just as it's about to start. All the Lego bionicle sets have swords, axes and cool weapons but I rarely see them using them, I only see a lot of shooting in games like Bionicle Heroes. Is there any explanation for this? Like something internal that prevented the animators from doing this, like something family friendly?
