Is that a swingline stapler?

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 week ago

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

So both combined when you're trying to find a new job?

this is why I would rather die. My life is not worth living. Not having a job sucks. Having a job sucks. Being fucking lonely sucks. Not being able to make friends sucks. In short, being me sucks ass. It's all because of borderline personality disorder. Therapy helps, but it doesn't solve the problem of this world being an absolute dick to everyone.

Yeah, it's true, a lot of things suck. They can and do get better though. I have a partner with BPD. They've been through a LOT of rough times, but they're now very loved and they enjoy their current job and have plenty of friends who care about and support them.

Therapy helps and sometimes, the world isn't always an absolute dick to everyone forever. Life changes and the world revolves and people find each other.

I hope you find your people too and a place where you can feel a little less shitty. :)

Edit: if you're feeling THAT shitty maybe consider reaching out to your local suicide hotline? People like that can help.

Good to see a caring take about BPD out in the wild 🙂 People see it at some evil, terrible thing, but with therapy its gone into remission for me and is quite a lot more manageable! Yea, having that loving community around you makes a huge difference in quality of life. Takes some time and effort to build and find the right people, but boy is it worth it.

Can relate. In panel 1 and not looking forward to panel 2.

This is the reality. Every company has that one thing you will hate.

But if you're looking for the place that hits everything you want, that's a unicorn.

On both occasions, more like I need to go to gym.

Easy Solution: Reincarnate into a wealthy family. 🙃
