The FBI have a large domestic surveillance apparatus. I know many here are predicting some kind of Christian fascist state but we should also consider a neo-feudalistic/fascist hybrid centered around a tech driven surveillance state.
The only difference I can see is if the people at the top understand how to use the surveillance technology. Christofascists absolutely love spying on everyone to enforce their particular agenda, even if the most complicated tool they can handle is Facebook.
