MODERATORS
Politicians are generally loose with the truth but the LNP really take it to a nasty level of lying. It all seems to be about winning the election however it really is about setting up an agenda for radical gutting of our society.
It’s wishful thinking but they may have committed a Shorten manoeuvre where they scare the electorate.
Nuclear was always going to be a gambit.
They would've been better off just being laggards. "Clean" coal et cetera.
The LNP are filled with the exact same sociopaths as the GOP in the states; people who will sell their souls, and country, to billionaires and dictators for profit. Their ideology ends in a corporate fascist dictatorship, but literally only the oligarchy and brown shirts want that, so they have to bundle their destruction of democracy and return to feudalism into a slew of mentally-ill buzz words like "stop the boats" and "cutting red tape" — relying on the Murdoch propaganda machine to convince the ignorant masses.
And Labor, like the Democrats in the states, are also majority corporate whores; minus the fascism and racism. They're better, but still more of a controlled opposition than a party actively trying to improve our future.
Make no mistake, the LNP will sell out the entire country to get a chance at a cut in the American Reich.
