This is good, but make the message even stronger by sending more aid and weapons.

Trump and Vance don't seem to think they need allies.

Its like they fundamentally don't understand why or how the US has maintained a long, durable global hegemony.

I wish I could say the Australian people stand with Ukraine but I keep meeting absolute fuck heads about.

Yesterday a bloke wearing a MAGA hat. What a wanker

Which way will Dutton go, though?

I think Dutton admires some MAGA politics and ideals and perhaps even Trump but we don't have a presidential system and he has to retain the confidence of his party and parliament.

If the libs, foolishly, fell in with Putin they are going to face a shit ton of criticism from people with influence in conservative politics like Tony Abbott. Even with many moderates having left the party you would think a number would cross the floor to opposed us becoming another Putin puppet state.

I would prefer if we didn't take the risk and kept with the stability of the ALP for another term but it seems like that isn't likely.

I mean, the wrong way like he always does?

I don’t live in Australia anymore, but every time I check into the ABC lately it’s looking more and more embarrassing. This is the first time in a while Albo seemed to actually do something that showed some backbone, even though it was a token show of support.
